Born and raised in southern California, Allison was an active athlete growing up. While playing college basketball, she pursued a Bachelor’s degree in P.E./Athletic Training and interned for two years as head student trainer for the men’s baseball and women’s basketball teams. This is where her interest in massage & bodywork really took flight.
She began her bodywork journey in Santa Monica, California, getting Certified & Licensed soon after graduating from college and started working in the L.A./South Bay area as an independent contractor for two chiropractors, a bodywork office, as well as offering on-site chair massages, home visits, and later a having a private practice in a golf community center. Allison has worked on all ages & walks of life... infant to 88 years young...professional athletes, long shoremen, weekend warriors, hospice patients, marathoners, teachers, stay-at-home-moms, retirees, students, accountants...EVERYbody has "personal kneads"!
After a 5 year hiatus from her passion, she enrolled at East West College in Portland, to pursue her Oregon massage license. Right after being licensed she began working for a chiropractor while growing her practice from her home studio. In 2013, her dream of having a "real office" finally came to fruition by renting a 150 sq ft space in Canby. Since then, she's grown into a beautiful upstairs suite in downtown Canby.
"I absolutely love what I do & am honored that my clients choose to come back to me!"
Some interesting things about Allison...mother of 2 amazing daughters, has a deep love for animals & the outdoors, lived & worked on a pear farm for 8 years, managed to remodel a 100+ year old farmhouse, feels most at home near the ocean & close to God.
